New Ground Cafe' partially closes each July. It's my time for food research (eat, eat, eat!!!), enjoying family and friends, giving some love to my 90 year old building and taking on crazy catering jobs that would be impossible when the restaurant is open. This year, there will be light lunches and dessert Fridays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. or until we sell out. Thursday, July 14th: Full Moon Fiddle Fest featuring Troy MacGillivray and Karrnnel Sawitzky. Tickets are $40 each and include an East Coast influenced Saskatchewan Bounty meal.

Thursday, July 28th: Neil Crowe...can't quite describe his sound except to say you won't want to miss this one! $40 for the meal and show. Summer's finest ingredients, served al fresco if the mosquitos and weather co-operate!
