February 2011 Special Events

There is limited seating left for the Saturday, Feb.12th Valentine's meal and performance by Tara Stadnyk and Shawn Semchuk.

The theme is chocolate (of course).

The price is $40 per person for the meal and music. The evening gets underway at 6:30 p.m.


There will also be a meal (no live music) on Monday, Feb.14th. The theme for this 3 course dinner is...Meat and Potatoes, with a twist!!!  Lots of surprises and a fabulous dessert trio to finish off.

Price is $25 per person. Restaurant will open at 6pm for supper, it will be open 11:30am-5pm for regular lunch hours as well!



Our second annual Feb. 26th Fire and Ice (Fruzen Arse!) Dinner, which is served in my soon to be completed ice cafe' on the west side of our building, has sold out by word of mouth!

Let me know if you'd like to be added to the waiting list. The meal is a four course Scandinavian/Saskatchewan affair.

Price is $40 each.

Saturday, March 5th will be special, with Terry Fehr and Veryl Coghill performing their original play, ‘Stop Talking’. It's a heartfelt, honest, entertaining look at love and relationships explored through poetry and song.

The meal preceding the performance will be themed, "Sugar and Spice" and features savoury and sweet dishes from around the world.

Price is $40 and actual tickets will be available for this event, through Terry and at New Ground Cafe'.


What a great way to celebrate International Women's Day! Sunday, March 6th, I will be bringing food and coffee to Muskoday First Nation's IWD event. This is always a fantastic opportunity for shopping, networking and listening to well-chosen speakers. See you there!


Our hours remain:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Pizza on Fridays from 5-7pm (but not this Friday, Feb. 6th as I'm away).

Thursday night suppers by reservation only.
